I have never had a problem with Myspace in Safari. I have always had WMP installed, and I do get errors with WMP10 playlists. I'm also running on an TiBook 500, so if you are still having problems, I suggest installing WMP9, and resetting Safari.

I was suppose to trade this to another member, but the member Never ship his as agreed, I was able to have mine sent back to me, he just printed a label and never shipped...
So I am looking to trade this phone for a unlocked 4G iphone, Must work on Tmoble, I have tons of refs here and sold over 100 items....
Please PM me if you want to trade really need it ...I also do not use MP3 or videos so a 4G is great :)
you will also get the 100.00 rebate....Sorry to interject, but it's too late at this point to get the rebate code from Apple unless you've already obtained it.

The "HasShadow property is obsolete" message is harmless. It's there to tell whoever wrote the program that's generating the message to update their code to conform to Apple's guidelines.]
[EDIT: I happen to know that ATY is ATI's internal code for their graphics cards. Perhaps the graphics card in your iBook is dying.
Ok, thanks, but as you know, ATI on Mac are only upgraded by Apple, and in Extensions file , it is a lot of recent ATI Rage plugin, (iBook is ATI Rage M7 AGP (ATY, Bee_B)... It seems not to be one ATI for iBook32Mb...
... dying... As I wrote before, in "safe mode" the display works quite good...

I upgraded my iMovie to version 9.0.1 through the Mac App Store. This 9.0.2 update doesn't show up in Software Update, but does show up in the App Store. Is this the way it's supposed to work?
I just assumed the Apple product updates would appear in Software Update like they always did.

Didn't see this posted yet, I would hate to be on the Comair plane as it gets whipped around. The National Transportation Safety Board is investigating the collision of an Airbus A-380 and a smaller plane at John F. Kennedy International Airport.
Air France Flight 7, bound for Paris, was taxiing on a runway Monday night when its left wingtip struck the tail of Comair Flight 6293, which had just landed from Boston and was taxiing to its gate at Kennedy, one of the nation's busiest airports.
There were no injuries.
Both planes were being inspected Tuesday. Pilots and crew will also be interviewed.
Passenger Lawrence Grotts was on board the Air France plane.
"It really felt just like a speedbump or like hitting a pothole -- a jolt -- but it didn't feel right ... like that shouldn't be happening," he said.
The NTSB said it has requested the flight recorders and will review air traffic control tapes and what is known as ground radar data.
The double-deck Airbus A-380 had 495 passengers and 25 crew members on board, Air France said in a statement. The Comair CRJ 700 Regional Jet had 62 passengers and four crew members.
"This incident only caused material damage to the two aircraft," Air France said. The airline said it is assisting the NTSB.
Maxine Lubner, chair of the aviation department at Vaughn College, said communication could have been a problem.
"When the plane, the A-380, was on the taxiway, Alpha, it's under FAA control," she said. "The regional jet may have already been switched to the company's frequency."
Lubner said the Air France pilots should have been able to see the smaller aircraft.

If it does have a Beta of Mac OS X it would be of Jaguar, 10.2. But I think that it is very unlikely that an OS would stay intact on a computer that of this vintage, if it even has a hard drive.

Well, if you don't need edit away from home the iMac would be better just cause of it's specs and screen size. The macbook air would work if you needed to edit on-the-go. Also if you have a large amount of photos/videos the iMac could hold it all. With the mba you most likely would need to bring along a portable external hdd.

Charge him 20 dollars and a lap dance at your favourite strip club for it. That's a fair market price for a 4 year old computer.
Why be slave to market forces and what they dictate? But I digress.
As was said, eBay is going to give a more accurate representation and, unlike OEM PC brands, Macs hold their value rather better.

I think you mean labels not studios. Most of the people working at studios work very hard for not much pay.
+1
He must have meant labels. Studios don't make hardly squat, and are not commissioned on sales.

You guys are fast!
Cool. So far I have just been right clicking "set as desktop" off the images themselves. I haven't added any folder to the desktop/wallpaper preferences pane - is this why my wallpaper last night didn't "stick" after shutting down? It went back to the default wallpaper this morning when I turned it on.
Sorry, this is my 1st apple ever and I just got it 2 days ago :(
So far it's been very intuitive and easy to learn and convert from windows though!

There is a minor difference - the new iMacs have an ambient light sensor which will provide ideal brightness whether you are in a dark or well-lit environment.
From Apple's site: "To conserve power and relieve eyestrain, a built-in ambient light sensor automatically adjusts the screen brightness on MacBook, MacBook Pro and iMac to suit the ambient light of whatever room youre in."
Hi there,
If you don't mind, can you link me to the info on the ambient light sensor on the new iMac's?

Requires the updated version of the me.com Calendar. I keep meaning to upgrade since I finally meet all the prereqs, but so many people had issues when they first rolled this out that I just haven't budgeted the time (to fix what it might screw up in my calendards) to get this done.
roadbloc, I see what you mean, but it would be nice to be able to add an event on a friend's computer and still be able to get the alert on my iPhone. Right now I can create an event on me.com but the actual alert has to be set up from my iPhone (or from Calendar on my Mac).

Now, iMac is at 15 hours. I do a weekly restart on it. My Windows 2008 server is running strong, 218 days. Would be longer, but I think it turned off because my battery UPS protector wasn't able to last very long. Only about 5 mins or so and the power was out longer. :(

Hi!
I purchased the Mac Universal Dock today and was having problems with the Line Out.
I can plug my stereo cord directly from iPod Touch (4th Gen) into my Panasonic Stereo System's "Music Port" and I can hear sound form its speakers.
When I place it into the dock, and use the "line out" I can only hear music from the iPod itself and not from the external speakers.
Any suggestions? Any settings to change?
Thanks!
