When attaching pics from your computer, make sure the file size isn't larger than the maximum allowed by the forum. When you click the paperclip icon, a new window/tab opens to browse for the file. At the bottom of that window are the max file sizes allowed for each image type.
Just tried a small file. No go. It won't let me get that far. I go to the picture, copy..."clunk". I go to the forum, type in [img] and click paste. Nothing. Why the "clunk" when it wasn't there before?
BTW...I have no trouble with youtube videos or "attachments".

Hi,
I have two internet connections here, one via GBit-Ethernet to my Mac Mini and a slower one connected to my WiFi router. I just bought a wireless printer, thus I need to connect the Mini to the WiFi to print.
I think this is not explicitly specified, but which connection will be used to route to the internet? It would be unfortunate to use the WiFi, as it's about 5 times slower.
Can I set the wired connection to be default for all connections, and route only the traffic that really has to go into the WiFi? All that comes to mind at the moment is removing the gateway/router address.
Better ideas?
i take it your taking static routes you could bond them together but thats hard and kinda pointlesss id get rid of the dsl conection stick the gige line into the router bridge that to wifi and wire in the pc/mac to the same router done

I wanted to embed a youtube video in my post, but I can't as HTML code is off. I was googling on how to embed a youtube video using BB code, but it seems as if it needs to be done on the admin's end. Come on algoriddim, bring on the sale for the iPad version and I'll be happy :) 20 dollars is too much for me, I just won't use it enough to warrant that price. If it was 7,99 I would have bought it already.
Pretty much that. Maybe for professionals its worth that price, but for a regular joe just wanting to mess around your not going to be getting much love at a $20 price point in the app store. I've tried this app at a friends house (how I found out about it) and TBH I wouldn't pay more then $3. He's a DJ though and says he didn't think twice about it. So depends on how well it's selling.

They are in what I guess is the root directory of Macintosh HD. They are in the first folder that opens when I double click on Macintosh HD from the desktop.

I've been using Aperture 3.0 since 3.0.1 came out. This is FAR from "beta" quality software. It's rock solid on my 250GB+ Aperture library.
Yes, some folks have had problems, but that's to be expected; this is software, and software will always have bugs. The bugs were neither egregious nor wide-spread (although to hear the kvetching you'd think that every Aperture user had their photo libraries replaced with goat se pics and emailed to their coworkers).
The much less vocal majority have been using Aperture 3 for a while now and are getting a heck of a lot of use out of it.

1) Why have you not told us what your device is? At least the class of device? This could at least get us to the point of knowing if we should expect the OS to have a generic HID divice driver for this class of device. If there is no generic class driver, then: yes, absolutely you will need to create a device driver (and no, it is not going to be easy).
Unless you ask good questions, you should expect nothing but bad answers.
2) This is not the sort of forum where you should expect to find people who can write drivers. This is a user-level forum. If you need help writing device drivers, then your best bet (short of paying someone who knows how to write device drivers on the Mac) is going to be on Apple's Darwin-drivers list (http://lists.apple.com/mailman/listinfo/darwin-drivers).

Has anyone verified this actually fixes the hyperthreading problem that reared its ugly head in 9.1.2 (http://forums.macrumors.com/showthread.php?t=1030872)?
Well if you mosey on over to OSX Audio (http://www.macosxaudio.com/forums/viewtopic.php?f=2&t=49112), you might want to check what Markus Fritze has to say...and see what responses are posted there. A lot of Logic users there, who will soon tell you what's going on!

I'd almost agree with you on this, but plastic MacBooks are incredibly flimsy machines.
My first apple laptop was a first gen macbook (plastic). It was pretty sturdy I thought. It scratched easily, but that's it. It survived a fair share of bumps and lumps. I got rid of it because I needed more screen...

I think I would wait, or just use the toothpaste.
My uncle works for a company that sells dental implants (nasty stuff!) and feels that the bleaching degrades the dentin significantly. I've checked around with a few people at my company (we sell dental products to dentists) and there is no consensus as to whether it is damaging or not.
Unless you can find some studies by the ADA or another organisation, I would not try anything too extreme.

No... it amounted to some spectacular Northern Lights displays. My wife showed me bunch that were captured last night and posted to the web.... I don't know where she found them.... but they were spectacular. :)

The negative post on the new 23" on the Apple forum have slowed down and seem to be populated by a few who have uneven backlighting with yellow shading on the left.

Anyways, good to see consoles finally getting head tracking, but I'm curious about how far they've gone, if it actually supports 6 DOF, or if it's just x and y, which given the console's hardware might be the case.
And that part showing the father and son air-wheeling it on the couch was lame.
GT5 has always had head tracking, and it will always be a better simulator than Forza will ever hope to be. Will GT compare to PC sims, probably not, but Forza is far more concerned with "pimp my ride" than it is with being a simulator (has to appeal to the teenage male audience xbox attracts). I'll stick with GT, its the most realistic driving sim on any console, and always will be.

the screen sits away from windows and the sun.
i don't smoke.
there's no dog.
the areas that are yellow tinged follow the edges of the screen and best i can figure, it's the pixels burning out in a weird way, or (less likely in my view) dustparticles inside the glass that's making it discolored.
