So essentially this law is saying the the state government of North Dakota would cease to exist and there would be anarchy. If no one needs to follow laws, that's really what this amendment means.
However, what makes it extra silly is that North Dakota can't secede from the Union, so the residents would still be subject to Federal law. That would spoil the party.

Thanks guys I got it working based on the suggestions. I just have a learning curve to go through after being with a PC all of my life. Luckly I'm not having too many issues.
On another note, anyone have a good idea for a travel bag that will carry a 13" mac book pro with charger, Iphone and Ipad 2. Any suggestions or experiences will be help full.
The only other issue would be MS office for mac as I'm having a hard time getting the exchange server to work but I think that is on my side not apple or the computer.

Bought it or built it myself. A man has to have a hobby. ;) I fold with Team MacOS X. Calling all Mac folders. Please spread the SMP client news (http://forum.folding-community.org/viewtopic.php?t=16715&highlight=) far and wide. Oh, did I mention it is SPEEDY and worth your time?! Can you say NATIVE?! I thought so. Now GO! :D

I have been trying for three days to get a simple Servlet to work. Tomcat is working and displaying the work. I have created the blasted web.xml, .java, and .class files. All I get is HTTP 404 /Hi/ or /Hello/ could not be found. I hate Tomcat, I hate Java Servlets. If anyone can help please, please, please, I beg you, please help. Here is the java file:

I was advised to come to these forums for help and advice from other Mac users, I didn't expect hostility and rudeness...
There are some who would consider violating forum rules or pirating software to be hostile and rude.

I've been waiting to get a new PB ever since August. I even chose to wait until MWParis. But unfortunately, the newest from ThinkSecret really hits the nail on the head.
No new PBs because:
1) HW sales soft across the board
2) Apple moving away from announcing product at events due to sales slowdown leading up to event.
3) a realistic speed bump (1Ghz) is too small of a value to be worth the effort. (If you think there are going to be duals in the PB anytime soon, you've either been on daddy's computer too long or you've stopped taking your medication.)
There will be PBs in October because:
1) errrrr...PBs have gone 6 months w/o an upgrade
2) edu pricing ends soon/trying to get rid of inventory
It just doesn't add up. I hate it every bit as much as the next guy, but what are you going to do in the face of such evidence? I guess I better just settle for a 800mhz Ti...:(

i am in phila and would have gone to KofP....sadly i am unable to go due to an already planned event im going to....but for all in the phila area planning on going...i would pay someone to pick me up one of those free t-shirts they are going to give out (size L:) )....so let me know

Not at this point. The time frame will probably be from when they announce the release date at WWDC in early June until the actual release if they don't announce a date at that time, it will be whenever they announce a date. Once they have told people when it is coming out, they don't want to hurt sales, so they offer the new OS.
Anyone buying from this past Tuesday until that announcement is not eligible for anything less than what anyone else would pay.
I ordered my new iMac yesterday but it will not even ship until 20 June with estimated delivery date of 25 June - if Lion is announced before they've even shipped it, what do you think then?

To be quite honest, Time Machine leaves a lot to be desired when it comes to error reporting when something goes wrong. I feel your frustration because I had the same problem a few months ago. I've found that looking at the console helps to determine what error occurred and then searching Google to see what the error means, and how to fix it. I think you can find the console in the utilities folder somewhere - can't exactly remember where it is.
My problem with Time Machine was that my disk permissions were screwed up and so it wasn't copying the files nessessary to complete the back up - it would just quit. I would check to see if those were set correctly by going into info and reseting them. Might help.
I'm still having no luck. How do I reset the disk permissions. I can see that they are set right, but I assume you mean something else by re-setting?
